If you want
to be competitive, you need quality tire warmers.
Unfortunately, we all can't afford the trick, high-dollar
kit that's available, and too often bargain priced gear
comes with bad customer service, questionable quality, and
the ol' 'here-today-gone-tomorrow,' promising much but
delivering little (or even nothing). So, you have a choice:
you can get the cool, trick warmers for lots of cash, or you
can get the inexpensive warmers that come with the
aforementioned pitfalls. Well, I think it's time for another
option...
If you're in need of some quality warmers
at an affordable price, T2 is your warmer. The first
question people ask (me included) when new products appear
on the market is "how well do they work?" Well, as far as I
know, the best way to tell how well something works is to
look at who's using it. Here's a list of some of the folks
who depend on T2 tire warmers every weekend:
5150 Endurance: Justin
Marm and Phil Caudill (of Moto-Heaven/XES leathers fame) ,
FBF MV Agusta, WERA Endurance
LOC Endurance: Dan Carr
and Jimmy Vanderhaar, Yamaha R6, WERA
Endurance
Ghetto Customs: Chris Parrish, Russell
Stodard, Suzuki SV650, WERA National Challenge Series, WERA
Endurance
Chad Lewin: Suzuki GSXR600, GSXR1000, WERA
National Challenge Series, WERA Endurance, AMA Pro
Racing
Seth Starnes: Suzuki GSXR1000, WERA National
Challenge Series, WERA Sportsman Series, AMA Pro
Racing
Tim Vosnick: Suzuki GSXR1000, WERA Sportsman
Series, WERA National Challenge Series
We all know that you
don't get on the box in WERA or AMA racing by cruising
around for a few laps while your tires build heat, but this
year every one of those teams and riders has a pile of
trophies already, and the season is young! If these warmers
didn't do the job, these guys wouldn't have them on their
bikes, and I wouldn't be offering them to you - end of
story.
I spoke with Seth's crew chief after they
tried the warmers, and he reported to me that he checked the
tire temps with a pyrometer in conjunction with the T2
warmers, and the temps were "exactly what he expected in
each case, down to a degree or 2." Chad's mechanic Shane
(call him Evil...really) confirmed the same information.
Chris Parrish calls T2 warmers his "Easy Bake Oven."
Umm...that's, a good thing, right? Anyway...
If
you're a track day rider, these warmers are perfect for you!
Why? Because one of the benefits of using warmers is the
ability to limit the heat cycling of your tires, thereby
increasing their longevity. But, with non-adjustable
warmers, you can't leave them on all the time (or at least
you shouldn't) because they're too hot for all-day use. With
T2's digital warmers, you can reduce the temp. setting when
you come off the track, and keep them warm. Then, 20 min.
before your session you can crank 'em back up to the full
temp. you want when you're ready to go. Use them in this
manner, and these warmers will guarantee you optimum
treatment of your tires at every event you attend. Tires are
expensive...treat 'em right!
Temperature-adjustable with
digital automatic thermostat -adjustable in increments
of 1 degree C from 25C-99C. Fully customizable advanced temperature
control including offset and +/- variance
(don't worry, it's easy, and comes with a really good
manual too :) Nomex®

protection of outer layer Deg. C to Deg. F conversion
